Question about warp

I'm stuck. I have an image I'm trying to bend around a shape I've placed, that's a circle. It appears to be text, but it's not, it's a jpeg logo image. I upgraded to pro, since it appeared that the warp tool was what I needed but it's not at all producing the desired results. basically, I want to wrap the image around half of the circle without significant distortion of the image. It's entirely possible I'm using the tool incorrectly so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there, that isn't quite the right tool — at this time, Pixelmator Pro doesn't really have a tool that you could use for a task like this, but something like a mesh warp tool has been requested before and it's possible we might add it to Pixelmator Pro in the future.

OK, thanks. Seems I upgraded for no reason but I will find a reason in another project!
