I am making an image that is nothing but text, then I export it as a photo to add to a website, using Smugmug and it seems the easiest way to do what I want.
So I started my first canvas as a full text box. I have it set to the proper font size/type, etc.
But when I paste into it it brings the text in at the size/font is was at the source.
Can I tell Pixelmator to always use a default font and size?
Text box, can I save as a template?

I don't think so but, in common with other Mac apps you can Paste and Match Style (Shift-Opt-Cmd-V).

P.S. You can also create a text preset with your preferred options if you find yourself using the same settings all the time.
