I know how to add a shadow to a textured shape; however, the shadow inherits the shapes textured. How do I set the shadow to have a plain fill without texture?
Thanks
Dave

Hi Andrius,
I start with a simple shape. Then apply a shadow. Then add a pattern fill to the shape and the shadow inherited the pattern.
Want to avoid the shadow inheriting the pattern that I apply to the shape.
Thanks
Dave

Ah, ok, that was pretty obvious — apologies for not understanding it! Maybe I need an extra coffee this morning...
So, unfortunately, you'll need a workaround to achieve that result. Here's how:
1. Create your rectangle + shadow layer:
2. Duplicate that layer, turn off the shadow, and add your pattern fill to it:
Hope that helps!

That will work.
Thanks for the help.
