Hi,
I have updated to pro 2.2, which is said to have 28 shortcuts, but could only find 6 shortcuts to add. How can add them all?
Thanks

There are 28 actions in the Shortcuts app, which can be used to build shortcuts. The sample shortcuts in the What's New screen are shortcuts we've created using the actions that we added to the Shortcuts app and other, built-in actions. Basically, I think you're confusing shortcuts (combinations of actions) and actions (the building blocks of shortcuts).

P.S. Welcome to the forum!

Three favorite gardening books ever (if you love reading)

Gardening is the most efficient way to get nature close to us. Sometimes, we are too stressed from working at our job and doing chores, and we figure that it would have been better if we were working in our garden. Gardening has proven to be very helpful in many ways. It helps us release stress, boosts physical health, improves our food nutrition, and enriches our lives. However, it is a bit hard for us if we are beginners. Where should we start?

We have assembled a list of the best gardening books for you based on our research on top reviewed books on Amazon.com, the surrounding libraries, and some famous gardeners’ book reviews. You will find that all of our choices below are second editions of best-selling books, which have been favorites for years. They are also best sellers on Amazon.com, bringing gardening knowledge and tips to people around the world.

Selected For You: Compare reviews product - Saving time and money with product reviewed

1. The Vegetable Gardener’s Bible, 2nd Edition: Discover Ed’s High-Yield W-O-R-D System for All North American Gardening Regions: Wide Rows, Organic Methods, Raised Beds, Deep Soil, by Edward C. Smith

The interesting point is that the author, Edward C. Smith, has lived off and has gardened with his wife in Vermont for more than 30 years. They have been growing countless varieties of plants, vegetables, fruits, and herbs in their big, big, big garden.

A wealth of knowledge full of gardening ideas, techniques, and solutions from A to Z. You will feel thankful for reading this book, even if you are a beginner or an experienced gardener.

Includes step-by-step instructions compounded with a lot of pictures and full information about each vegetable. You can find the vegetables’ names, where to grow them, how to seed them, and the seeds’ germination times, etc.

#1 best seller in Organic Gardening & Horticulture on Amazon.com, with a lot of Amazon reviews. It is a thorough manual for getting the most efficient rate in gardening with the least work.

However, if you are an expert in gardening, you might not find the thing you are looking for in this book.

2. Gaia’s Garden: A Guide to Home-Scale Permaculture, 2nd Edition, by Toby Hemenway

Best overall for all small-scale home gardening lovers everywhere.

Provides you with a holistic view of organic gardening, from preparing and maintaining a rich texture of soil bed, how to water correctly in your landscape, learning the way to grow plants together with animals, insects, birds, and how to leverage the power of natural ecosystems.

The book emphasizes the importance of picking plants that grow as “friends.” You will learn how to grow them together in mutual support, how to inspire natural creatures to live in symbiosis, and how to take advantage of useful living insects and critters in your soil enrichment.

It has easy-to-understand instructions and a comprehensive guide for basic gardening. However, the book’s illustrations seem less colorful than those of other books.

Has a 5-star rating for permaculture agriculture from Amazon customer reviews.

3. The Garden Primer, 2nd Edition by Barbara Damrosch

If you are a beginner, this book is the best for you, as it has all the basics without making the reader overwhelmed.

The author’s storytelling style is as pleasant as reading a comic – not like reading a book for information. There is a specific chapter for each general kind of plant, i.e., bulbous plants, vegetables, houseplants, etc.

If you are going to buy just one gardening book, this will be our suggestion for you – a comprehensive but straightforward quick-reference book. You can also find a guide on how to edge your plot properly, how to amend your soil, and the process of choosing plants. She will be with you through all the steps.

When referring to the world of books, we can be entirely defeated by the thousands of books available. You can check out our picks or do your research by yourself before picking up your new books. Moreover, if you are going to engage more in gardening, you can also find gardening information through college courses, local farming projects and workshops, Facebook groups, or your local library. We hope you can have a great time.

Hola. These new features (Pro 2.2 shortcuts) look very promising. Perhaps you plan to add some of them to those of us who have not yet made the leap from Catalina or less.

Hi! Which features do you have in mind, specifically? Except for the support for Shortcuts and FaceTime Portrait Masks which are macOS 12-dependent, every other feature in the 2.2 update should be available on other operating systems Pixelmator Pro is compatible with.

In-app background removal is on the roadmap for future Pixelmator Pro updates. It should be available for all compatible macOS versions. Selection improvements are also coming!
