Mask Colour adjustments

Is it possible to apply a mask just to colour adjustments? I might want to saturate just a part of an image, for example, but without doing it destructively with the saturate brush. A work-around is to duplicate my layer, colour adjust and mask that layer - but just masking an adjustment would be a neater solution.

Hi Iain,
The answer is yes and no... OK, mostly no. (As of Pixelmator Pro 1.1.5 anyhow)
If you select an area (e.g. by using the marquee tool) the colour adjustment will only apply to that area but... the adjustment will be committed to the layer as soon as the selection is changed or removed.
So, I do as you do: duplicate, mask, adjust.
