I'm running macOS Catalina 10.15 Beta (19A512f) and Pixelmator Pro v1.3.4 Prism crashes when I try to add a shape.

I am also running 19A512f - starting a new image I had no problems adding shapes. In an earlier Beta I had problems doing rectangular selection - crashed once then - not now. I'm sure the Pixelmator team has beta software and is plugging holes now. I'm sure they would tell you they don't guarantee on beta software, you know it too.

Same here. Since doing the beta of Catalina, Pixelmator has been bricked. I get the spinning beach ball and “Application Not Responding” as soon as it opens. I’ve let Pixelmator know and submitted reports to Apple as well.

These issues are known, although letting us know about them does no harm either. The next Pixelmator Pro update will have some initial fixes for issues with this new version of macOS and a full compatibility update is lined up for the fall.

I reckon you'll be able to use Pixelmator Pro on Catalina without issues once this next update comes out, so I wouldn't worry too much about the official compatibility update. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

OS Catalina, 19A512f, installed PM Pro 1.3.4; update to 1.4 not possible since "Pixelmator Pro doesn't support your installed graphics hardware" – on my iMac this is NVIDIA GeForce GT 755M 1GB.

Odd, would you be able to email us about this at support@pixelmator.com? Thanks in advance!
