I'm looking to align/distribute groups that have masked objects in them. From what I can tell, masked objects will always affect how the group is distributed, even the part that has been masked out.
I've attached pictures for a better explanation.
The first image shows what happens. The middle square has a star that is masked to the right, so when attempting to evenly distribute the 3 groups this is what happens.
What I would expect to happen is below. The masked part of the start not affecting the distribution.
Is there something that I am missing or is the only way around this right now to hide the masked layer, distribute/align, then unhide the masked layer?
