Hey everyone! We’re getting closer to another great major update to Pixelmator Pro and we wanted to share an early look at one of the new features we’ll be adding.
In the video, you’ll actually notice two new features – the ability to quickly see and set your primary and secondary colors and a way to change the color of any object in your document using the magic of drag and drop. It’s so fun to use!
This is just one of the great new features coming in Pixelmator Pro 2.1 and there should be another three or four more. Development is going well, although we still have a little way to go.

I don’t think enough is made of the fact that Pixelmator - in all of its incarnations - has democratised and is democratising access to pro-level image editing on the Mac. No subscription fees and AMAZINGLY competitive - actually, competition-concluding - pricing is awesome and I continue to be here for it.

Thank you for the update Andrius! I still hope to one day see a basic animation timeline in Pixelmator Pro so I can kick the Photoshop subscription!

Which one? I'm thinking not this time, but almost everything included has been requested at least once or twice.

Pixelmator Pro for the win! I use it faithfully. In fact, I only have that ‘other’ photo editor on my Mac because I use Lightroom. Pixelmator is one of the best examples of high quality software. Fantastic product!

This was already repeated a billion times: "If app X adds feature Y, I'll ditch adobe". You probably will not. You will find another minor feature you "cannot live without" and say the same sentence again, in another forum.
