Hi Everyone, Sorry for asking such a basic question. I have a line drawing with no background, and I have a texture image: two layers. I put them together but both layers won't show at once, no matter what I do with "opacity" slider for either layer.
See images below for views of each layer with opacity 100% or 0
Any suggestions?

Videos/GIFs need to be hosted elsewhere. Perhaps a screenshot of the whole Pixelmator Pro app will help already.

Thanks EllenM! I posted some screenshots so everyone can understand my difficulty. Obviously I don't use Pixelmator Pro everyday, and I'm still learning. Any suggestions are most welcome.

If you want the texture to appear only on the black parts you need to make a right click on the texture and call "Create Clipping Mask":

Thanks, but actually I want to the black parts to show on the other image. Isn't there any way to combine two layers in Pixelmator pro for the finished image? See the screenshots.

In this case you just need to drag the texture below the decal in the layers panel - right now it is covering the motive.
