Quite a few people asked for this fundamental tool, yet so far... nothing?

For the ever-growing list of film shooters out there, such as myself, this tool is vital.

It would also save me from scratching my head at this oversight (having just bought your software) and having to return back to Lightroom to use NLP (for Lightroom only).

Your team seemed to express a keen interest in this feature, yet nothing has been done as far as I see (?)

Any/all insights for plans (if any) for this feature in coming days/weeks?

Thanks!

A search will help: https://www.pixelmator.com/community/se ... s=negative

I think you´re looking for analog color negative conversion support like here: https://www.pixelmator.com/community/vi ... t=negative

Thanks! I already did that and came up with nothing as straightforward as the Lightroom plug-in option I mentioned. I can’t imagine doing the recommended workaround for each and every negative — nor would it be sustainable time wise, hence my query. Would be ideal if they could apply their genius AI system to a simple conversion. Alt is going to Lightroom I guess. But that’s what we’re all trying to avoid, I imagine!

Hi Kal, I'm afraid a quick negative conversion feature isn't in our plans for Pixelmator Pro. However, after following the steps in the tutorial EllenM linked, you can save all of the added color adjustments as a preset. That way, you'll be able to apply negative conversion to future photos with a single click, or use our Shortcuts integration to apply it to a batch of images.
