I'm running into a very strange bug / behavior: I'm creating some content in Pixelmator Pro on my MacBook Pro. I can create a document, make edits and changes, and then save it to my drive (and/or DropBox). However, when I try to open the document in Pixelmator Pro again, I get the following error:
Just for clarity, I don't even own any Autodesk software, and this will happen literally moments after saving my new Pixelmator Pro document. Very strange! Any help would be most appreciated.
Also, here's my Pixelmator version (fully up-to-date via the Mac App Store):

Update / correction: I discovered that I *did* have a copy of Autodesk SketchBook in my Applications folder! No idea when or why I installed that, but it's deleted now and Pixelmator is working again. Whew!

I have the same issue, but no autodesk or sketchbook to delete. I can open any other image file in PM, b ut as soon as I save it as a pxd file, PM can't open it...awesome. Feels like windows all over again.

For anyone searching a solution, here's what worked for me:
1. Restart Mac into Safe Mode
2. Open Pixelmator Pro and open any image
3. Restart Mac into Normal Mode
Pixelmator Pro should now work!
I wrote more details here.
