How do I convert a 144KB JPG to an SVG without noise / blur ?
The JPG is actually a company logo - I wanted to reduce the size of the JPG and was wondering if the exact display in SVG version might help reduce the filesize.

Only saving as SVG won´t make it a vector file. SVG is just a container format like PDF for instance. You need either to manually trace it with the Pen Tool or when it´s "quite simple" use the Quick Selection tool and convert the selection into shape. Note that Pixelmator Pro will render its bitmap representation - not the vector data. You can check in a browser of your choice.
I wonder though why a company logo isn´t available as a vector drawing in first place and JPG and not PNG - doesn´t make sense to me - other than you want to avoid to ask for it. And an SVG equivalent isn´t necessarily smaller in file size - you´ll need to get rid of all sorts of meta data.

Thanks for the clarification - I'll my designer to check if he can convert the logo to SVG using the original source he has in Adobe Illustrator. Thanks again.
