Web Optimised Export on Animated GIFs - And other notes

What features would you like to see in Pixelmator Pro?

Firstly I wanted to say THANK YOU for adding animated gif support, I honestly never expected this feature request would be heard :)

However there are a few ways that the implementation could be improved:

1 - Web Export of Optimised animated GIFs with varying degrees of compression.
2 - True frame exporting: from what I can see the export is adding extra duplicate frames to try and force GIFs to a movie-style frame rate - this is not helpful for web graphics using GIFs.
3 - Per frame editing - it would be good to be able to select, edit, and delete frames individually - including the frame speed and loop count.
4 - Convert layers/groups to animated gif frames - I don't see a way to do this in a new document?
5 - Erasing pixels in an animated gif should make them transparent, at the moment it does nothing.

Its a great start though and I hope to see this functionally expanded! If you need a point of reference I recommend looking at https://ezgif.com as an example of the kind of features that are really helpful in animated GIF editing

After working with this some more Iv added an additional note:
