Use JPEG when RAW is incompatible

Before I switched my workflow fully to Photomator, I shot a lot of photos in Fuji's compressed RAW format. However, this format isn't supported by Apple's RAW SDK (which sucks, by the way) and so opening any photo in Photomator brings up a "The document couldn’t be opened." error. However, most of these images are paired with some JPEG. Would it be possible to open the JPEG instead of the RAW if the raw conversion fails? It would make the editing of many of these photos MUCH easier.
