From my experience with other programs, Photopea, Photoshop, and Affinity Photo, they all have some type of puppet warping ability:
We really need something like this, or perhaps Pixelmator should consider opening up a SDK so that the community can develop add-ons / plugins / etc. to cover some of these things.
Another option might be to have a higher tier, Pixelmator Ultimate, to help defray the costs of features that might be used more by working professionals.
