Hi I have a few things that can in my opinion be improved with the freeform straighten tool.
- When the manual input field is active (by clicking on it with the mouse) let people higher/lower the amount with 0.1 degree steps with the arrow keys on the keyboard. This works in apps like Sketch and is very handy.
- Clicking the straighten (left right icons) would work better with 0.1 degree steps, I'd say.
- When additionally pressing shift, you can do it in 1 degree steps.
I would think that any higher degree step (I noticed that you use 15 degree steps with shift is pressed while manually sliding the slider). This might be handy for design but is more something for Pixelmator than for Photomator I'd say. Most pictures are only off by a bit.
- The snap to 0 could be removed when changing the slider with the mouse because it jumps from 0,4 degree to 0 and often even less is needed. This is unhandy because then you have to manually enter the value.
