I am not an advanced photo editor, just using different programs (Apple photos, gimp) to enhance pictures I take with iPhone/Nikon. So, my purpose is to edit NEF files and even scanned old photos (remove damages etc.). I have tried som 'So called' AI editors. They make everything worse. They all promise a good result but most of the times, you can't even recognise a person after edit and sometimes they turn people into orcs! All the things you really want to remove still gonna be there.
So, what I wonder is, should I buy Pixelmator Pro or Photomator? I had Pixelmator long time ago and I could even edit pdf files with that. Can I do the same with Photomator? I have downloaded Photomator as a trial and it was convenient to use Apple photos library but I couldn't see any option to edit PDF. At the moment PiM pro costs 40% less than Photomator.
