Text not editable for open documents

I'm having a recurring issue that when a file has been open in Pixelmator Pro for a while (I haven't yet been able to determine what the 'cutoff duration is) the Text elements become uneditable. This resolves itself after quitting and restarting the application but as Pixelmator forces you to review changes for every unsaved open document rather than having a "Quit All without saving" option, this behaviour is becoming extremely annoying and time consuming especially as I dip in and out of Pixelmator Pro throughout the day making adjustments to template files which contain text elements. Is there a fix in the works for this?
