To everyone on this thread interested in Focus Stacking on Pixelmator Pro. I've been working on an applescript automation for doing focus merge. It seems to work pretty well if your images are aligned. So you don't have to seek out a different software solution to merge your focus image stack. I may try to write another one for Bracket Merge if enough interest is there. Check it out below.
