In Photomator beta, when I click on the Edit with Pixelmator Pro link, it says I need the beta version of Pixelmator Pro, and here's an email address to get access.
Sent the email, and got a link. The Pixelmator Pro beta in the zip file appears to be a standalone executable, and if I run it, it shows up correctly with "Pixelmator Pro Beta" in the application name field top left corner of the window.
However, when I then go to Photomator Beta and click on Edit with Pixelmator Pro, instead of the message I got before, it now tries to open the non-beta version of Pixelmator Pro, which appears to hang at the startup window (ie, create, open, etc).
How do I get it to recognise the beta version?

Answering my own question, you need to delete the non-beta version of Pixelmator Pro
