Would be good to have to adjust alpha/transparency from numeric keyboard keys.
Similar to Sketch App and Photoshop.
Using keyboard numeric 1,2,3...9,0 fo transparency level as in photoshop and sketch app.

You can actually already do this in Pixelmator Pro — say, if you're using the Style tool, you can press the 1 key to set layer opacity to 10%. Same with the Paint tool.

We're looking for transparency level in select mode, to make it more global function.
In select mode hear horrible mac beep on numeric key selection.

Noted! I reckon we'll need to make blending options as a whole a more a global option, and once that's done, I think we can make the keyboard shortcut global as well.

Would be very handy to have common actions mapped to keyboard shortcuts.
Switching between Photoshop/Sketch...apps for the design work, for transferring graphics assets makes it easier to offer to customize the keys. Maybe keyboard presets, so can easily switch app within design workflow.

You can customize keyboard shortcuts in Pixelmator Pro already — at least the shortcuts for every command in the menus. Here's a tutorial that explains how:
