Andrius told me and was recently communicated via Facebook as well.
It's also briefly mentioned in our FAQ.

Sounds like you might be on stage during the Apple's November event :)

Yeah, my guess is with the introduction of Apple Silicon and new Macs. Pixelmator has a spot and I guess ML stuff as well because the A14x or A14T will have improved ML features with Pix Pro it would be good to show...

I think it will be. They have rosetta 2, my guess is that what they have done first then writing code for apple silicon.

Andrius: Are you nervous featuring in the next Apple event :joy: ?

Pixelmator Pro will work!

I only hope the Pixelmator team will not only add Luminar stuff like changes of skies and too much focus on AI! I need more added professional tools and a more professionally set up interface. Everything is too spread out as it is today. I have to move the mouse around too much today to solve simple stuff.

Strange, I do not see that November announcement when I go to apple.com... Hope it isn’t fake news... 🤭

Pixelmator Pro will, of course, be fully supported on Intel Macs as long as they are fully supported by Apple, which, for now, looks to be the case for years to come.

by Republiken 2020-10-26 05:37:27 Patience is a very valuable virtue.

Making a good piece of software demands strength, sweat and tears, knowledge.

We are all, or should be, extremely grateful for the fact that the Pixelmator team is there to give us Pixelmator Pro.

Let us give them the time necessary for finally releasing a masterpiece.
I agree with you very much.

AT LEAST! But, when we see the result, the Pixelmator team will be those who deserve the cake! Without them, life would be so boring!

Nice little cameo there! I didn't have time to see if it was 2.0 or not though
User avatar

2020-11-10 19:50:50

Yeah! Very little but they did mention the name, Pixelmator Pro. Now the wait for 2.0 has started for real!
Would be great if we got it on the arrival day of Big Sur... On Thursday! Fingers crossed!
