Mouse/cursor disappears when using Pinch/Warp/Bump Tools, then cursor doubles when moved towards menu

I am attempting to edit photos using the Pinch/Warp/Bump tools, and once I've selected one of those tools and move the cursor left towards the photo image, the cursor disappears completely, and then when I bring the cursor back towards the menu, I end up with two different cursors on the screen - one static near the image and one that moves closer to the menu. If I go back on to the image area, the cursor disappears again. This only started after the update two days ago. It's now impossible for me to edit photos.

It sounds like this is easily reproducible for you – any chance you could share a screen recording of the issue either here or via email at support@pixelmator.com? That would be very much appreciated!

Is there a solution available? I have the same problem and did some more tests:
Can easily exactly this on MacBook Air (2019, i5) using a Studio Display externally.
Cannot reproduce on internal display.
I Have a MacBook Pro (M1), there the same works on intern and extern Studio Display.
So, seems to be a problem of the MB Air with external (Highness) Display?
Both Macs are on Sonoma 14.2.1, both Pixelmator Pro is Version 3.5.3
