I'm creating an artist calendar for 2023. I didn't find a way to create a table, so I added text boxes for each day by hand. The days just don't snap to a perfect grid automatically, so the days aren't perfectly aligned to each other. Someone has an advice for me?

Can you check Preferences->Rulers if Smart Guides are all activated? This should help with alignment+snapping.

The rule checkboxes are all checked. This are just tools to get it nearly right. I need it to be perfectly right by having the text boxes auto-snap and correctly align to each other .. or .. to be able to create a textual table for designing things like a calendar.

The snapping is pixel-perfect if you follow the indicators.
I´d probably implement a layer with rectangles (stroke/no fill) of the text table size for each which I can hide later on when not in use.

Danny, would it be possible for us to take a look at the original project file? It would be interesting to see how such workflows could be improved. You can share the PXD with us at support@pixelmator.com.

In the meantime, a couple of suggestions:

1. You can enter dates in columns, starting each number in a new line. This way, the aligning should be much easier.

2. You can use options under Arrange > Distribute Objects to align both colums and individual text boxes.

I applied it exactly, it really worked for me. As the new year approaches, I will create my own special calendars,
I did the project, which would take days, very quickly. I will show you my 2023 calendars that I have drawn as soon as possible.

Thanks.
