Add ability to create & run Apple Script as a new Layer type in a PXD

I would like to embed Pixelmator appleScript into a PXD. How about creating a new layer type that is dedicated to running an AppleScript that has a play button. When you click on the layer it shows the contents of the apple script source code. It should have a "Play" button that allows one to run the script from that new type of 'AppleScript layer'. While running the "Play" button converts into a "Pause" button. See my proposal below:
