- The ability to select which colour picker palette is being used as default via the brush colour menu.
- The ability to name individual colours within the Pixelmator picker palette (as can be done with custom colours in the System picker palette).
Presently, the user can select colours for the brush within the "brush colour picker" menu. Alternatively, the user can access the MacOS system colour picker by selecting View>Show colours or by clicking the icon at top right of the brush colour picker... resulting in having both colour palettes open.
It is not very clear to the user that one is an application colour picker and the other is a system colour picker.
A while ago now I spent a great deal of time bringing my palettes into the System palette only to find these can't be the default for the brush colour picker menu.
Additionally, there is no easy way to easily migrate swatches/palettes from Pixelmator to System and vice versa.
