Undo/history brush

Like the title says, a history or undo brush would be great. Photoshop's history brush is pretty robust, but Affinity's undo brush is simpler and easier to use. Something similar (or better) would be fantastic. Love Pixelmator, BTW. I made the switch from Photoshop after getting tired of the slow, laggy interface. Being able to move sliders around and see changes in real time is an amazing quality of experience improvement

I bugged them a few times on FB over the past few years about History Brushes. It's a feature I could use nearly everyday and would save me so much work. They responded to me once saying something along the lines that it wasn't needed because of something else—I forget now what, it's been so long ago. The templates and stuff they keep doing mean nothing to me, I will never ever use any of them. I have begun to wonder if they simply just don't know how to code it.
