I have found the Pixelmator plug-in for Apple Photos to be extremely useful and convenient when there is a need to go beyond routine photo editing (such as for removing backgrounds, resizing canvas, changing colours, etc.).
By switching Photomator in lieu of Apple Photos I really miss this easy access to Pixelmator editing capabilities. I now have to export, reopen, edit, re-save and re-import. Am I missing something?
