How to fake a missing DEHAZE slider

Hi, like a lot of you Photomator users, I am —> DESPERATELY WAITING FOR A DEHAZE SLIDER!! <— (hint for Pixelmator Team!)

I tried to find a workaround, as Dehaze is mostly a combina'tion of deepening Blacks, lifting Brightness and a wee pinch of Contrast (and dropping exposure a tiny bit…).

I created a new preset with those settings, pushed a bit to the limit so as to create a very strong dehaze effect.
Now luckily, Photomator allows us to apply presets to masks only, so I mask the part of the photo where I want to apply DEHAZE and apply my preset. Then I can adjust it’s strength to my liking.

Voilà!

and to re-haze (sometimes you may want to add haze to build depth in the background) it would be: lift blacks, decrease brightness, decrease contrast?
