I've used Match Color often, but now I've been getting monochrome results on multiple occasions. Here's an example.
If I try to apply the colors of this image:
to this image:
I get the following results:
As I mentioned, this has happened multiple times with different images over the past week. Any ideas?
Thanks

Is it reproducible? By that, I mean does the same pair of images consistently produce the same result, or does this occur randomly?

It's reproducible with the same images.

Operator error. I did a paste color match - not what you did. ; Format -> Color Adjustments -> Match Colors
Trying again.
Your image + my AI colorized of B/W image = a different saturated version.
Followed by you method.
Image + same image = Saturated image.
Nothing unsaturated - I think you have a Color Adjustment set (scroll down to "Black & White")

Did you see my initial example? Are those colors too dissimilar?

Are you using the "Match Colors…" command and choosing the file or are you using the clipboard? I get it with either method.
I've been using Match Colors for years and have only begun getting the monochrome results fairly recently.

Above is the format -> color adjustments -> match colors method as you say you used. The deleted image was the paste method. Did you look at what other color adjustment you may have selected? Adjustments seem to persist between uses.

No other adjustments applied. It happens when I open the images for the first time and anytime I try it with no other adjustments applied.
