Mask no longer working with Pixelmator Pro 2.3.1
2021-12-14 20:01:18
After upgrading to the latest Pixelmator Pro 2.3.1 I no longer can use the mask. That is, black regions on the mask do not show the content of the layer below. Yesterday I sent a support request, and did not yet get a reply, hence this post. Can anybody else reproduce this issue?
Here is a test case that based on the mask is supposed to show a red "TE":
I am using MacBook Pro on maxOS Catalina 10.15.7 (19H1217)
Also, where can I download the previous version so that I can downgrade until this is fixed?

We've just pushed version 2.3.2 to the App Store with a fix for this – if it hasn't downloaded automatically, open up the Updates tab in App Store, press the Command-R keyboard shortcut, and the update should appear. If you can, please do let us know if it fixes the issue for you!

Thanks Andrius for the quick fix. I do not yet see 2.3.2 in the App Store; I'll check tomorrow.

Ah, App store did not show the update, but when I went to the Pixelmator App in the App Store I could update it to 2.3.2. However, that version did not fix the issue:

How can I downgrade to an older version that works?

Thanks Aurelija and Pixelmator Team.

@Aurelija: I can't really use your product until this is fixed. How can I downgrade to an older version that works? Please let me know, I already asked several times.
Edit: I saw that I got an email with a download link, but that only gives an "access denied" message.

Pixelmator Pro 2.3.3 with a fix is now available from the App Store. You'd simply need to update your app to the latest version and everything should run smoothly again.

I can confirm that the mask bug is now fixed.
